Art Bears was formed in 1978 from the ashes of Henry Cow (would charred beef be more appropriate?), a relentlessly experimental progressive rock band. Dagmar Krause being German begs the trite comparison to Nico... If Nico is a chanteuse, does that make Krause a "shriek-euse?"
